Work Placements and Recruitments

Recruiting an intern

YOU HAVE AN ASSIGNMENT, WE HAVE THE TRAINEE YOU NEED

Steps for recruitment : what do you have to do to hire a trainee ?

When a Company is looking for internship students, it has to get in touch with ESSCA’s Placement Office by filling in the “send an offer” part directly on the ESSCA Web site,

During their internships, students are able to place a wide range of different competences at the disposal of the host company. These consist of both language abilities and the skills that they have acquired at ESSCA during their course of studies. With the professionalisation majors of the Master programme, ESSCA provides its students with general and specific skills and attributes, such as…

  • Personal attributes (autonomy, entrepreneurial spirit, open mindedness, stress management)
  • People skills (team spirit, written and oral communication, relations with colleagues, ability to develop supporting arguments and persuasiveness)
  • Work and execution (analytical skills, ability to summarise, organisational skills, work capacity, work efficiency, reliability of results)

As internships are an integral part of the student’s courses, ESSCA has set up an automatic process covering all the formalities concerning the internship, from the online validation form to the work placement contract, which objective is twofold:

  • To enable the student to retain student status, important for French Social Security requirements and other insurance reasons
  • To validate on of the ESSCA Master degrees
