At the young age of 21, Saïté Chen has already had an impressive past. A Chinese citizen, he arrived in France at the age of 11, graduated with a scientific baccalaureat in 2007, and is currently in his second year of studies at the ESSCA campus in Paris.
In addition to his involvement in the China European Organisation for Exchange and Cooperation where he fills the role of Secretary General, Saïté fully enjoys his passion for the piano and even recorded Bach's Fifth Concerto, Liszt's Sonata in G Minor and Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue with Shanghai's Philharmonic Orchestra in 2007. |
Saïté started learning to play the piano at the age of four. At six, he took lessons with Professor Jun Yang from the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing.
Does a musical ear favour language proficiency? Fluent in French and Chinese, Saïté also speaks English, Spanish and Russian!
