Today, with excellence and innovation being considered as priorities by both governments and companies, business schools must play a greater role in creating and sharing new knowledge.
ESSCA's research strategy is focused on developing original knowledge intended at providing concrete answers to issues facing organisations and that will percolate teaching contents.
ESSCA's research is conducted within four dynamic Research centres :
Research Centre in Social and Solidarity-based Economics
Research Centre in Strategic Innovation and Entrepreneurship
Research Centre in European Integration
Research Centre in Retailing
Each Research Centre develops its own research strategy and agenda covering a four-year period, based on a list of research priorities and funded projects.
The development of scientific cooperations at both national and international levels plays hand in hand with the willingness to serve a large audience – the scientific and the business communities, but also students and the school’s social environment – reinforcing the visibility of each Centre’s research findings.
ESSCA and its faculty are open to the world, sensitive to new ideas and attentive to a fast-changing environment, three attitudes that ESSCA’s research philosophy reflects and promotes.
