What Destination ?
A NETWORK OF 97 UNIVERSITIES IN 40 COUNTRIES
Students who wish to study abroad may take a semester in one of the 97 partner universities throughout the world. These academic stays are approved for the programme and, in some cases, give access to the partner university’s diploma as well. They are all part of exchange agreements and ESSCA in turn welcomes up to 400 students on its Angers, Budapest and Shanghai sites.
When taking courses in a partner university, teletutoring, via the School’s intranet, allows the educational team to keep in close contact with each student. This stay is a full part of the programme, as the partner university’s exams are taken into account in granting the ESSCA Master diploma.
In addition to programmes in partner universities, ESSCA organises specialisation semesters in Hungary and China. These semesters are also offered to students from partner universities, which allows for a combination of nationalities and a truly intercultural experience.
BUDAPEST
Founded in 1993, the ESSCA Hungary Foundation is located in the heart of Budapest and welcomes approximately 100 French and foreign students for semesters of classes, MBA seminars and corporate visits. The semester programmes are a full part of the School’s programme and are managed in close collaboration by colleagues in Budapest and the main campus in Angers.
.
SHANGHAI
In addition to its partnerships with Chinese universities, in 2006, ESSCA decided to create its own semester programmes in Shanghai with the primary objective of providing courses for approximately fifty students every year on the Chinese business world. All participating students are able to follow Mandarin classes before their departure. The first semester programme focuses significantly on learning this language and the Chinese culture, in addition to management classes taught in English. The second semester programme offers marketing and supply chain classes, with a geographic focus on China and Southeast Asia. Courses are taught in English by Asian and non-Asian research professors from ESSCA and foreign universities.
