International Semester: Principles
A future manager must be able to work in an international context, whether at home or abroad. ESSCA has therefore included a requirement in its programmes: an international semester, with the opportunity of spending up to one year abroad. A number of options are available: a corporate internship, a stay in a partner university or one of ESSCA’s international semesters organised at the ESSCA Budapest Foundation or on its campus in Shanghai.
The Internship Department, which falls under the Corporate Relations Division, currently has a full-time employee responsible for seeking internships abroad and assisting students with formalities. These internships are a full part of the student’s study programme and contribute to shaping his or her career plans. Each year, approximately 150 Master students participate in an internship in a foreign company for approximately six months.

Stephen Farge followed an MBA programme at Illinois State University - USA
"The MBA programme at Illinois State University is a real opportunity for me to validate my capacity to work in an Anglophone context. It allows me to study among students who have gathered significant work experience in the US or internationally. This two-year programme is also a great way to deeply understand the American culture and enjoy the multiple activities and events on campus." |
