 Fundamental teachings and group projects

 

PIGE 1: Introduction to Corporate Management Programme: three topics are studied throughout a semester in the form of press reviews, internet research, lectures and testimonials:

 

2009-2010 Topics:

 

International Migrations   

- Industrial Environment 

- Ethical behaviour and management

 

These topics are supplemented by an initiation to key corporate functions and a company simulation: Kalypso.

 

 Technical and methodological teachings

 

Introduction to Law/Introductory Sessions - World Markets/Methodology for Essays/General Economics/Introduction to Management/Interpersonal Communication and Relations/Mathematics for Management/Introduction to Office Automation/Information and Communication Technologies/Liberalism: Basics and Principles/Introductory Sessions - Accounting/Corporate Simulation: KALYPSO/Microeconomics/Law of Obligations/Descriptive Statistics/Probabilities/Information Systems and Management Sciences/Spreadsheets in Management Sciences/Marketing Basics/General Accounting 1 LL1 English/LL2 German or Spanish.

 

 Elective activities

 

Students must select one activity and one only amongst the activities offered. The selected activity will be the subject of evaluation during the course and is a full part of the educational programme.

 

 -   Living language 3 (L.V.3)

This language selection is a commitment by the student to a three-year course. Five languages are offered: Chinese (Mandarin), Portuguese, Russian, Italian and Spanish.

 - Physical and sports activities, individual or collective (A.P.S)

 - Cultural initiation workshops (A.O.C).

 

 Introductory and observational internship (eight weeks)
