The final race of the French Grandes Ecoles Championship was held at the beginning of a gala heat on the Saint Cloud racetrack as the best French mares were making their debut in the Prix Corrida.

On Monday, May 24, 2010, under a scorching sun, the pace of the final race was dazzling. Coming to the fore early in the race, Adrian Pannetier (first year student who came in first at Longchamp), representing ESSCA, patiently waited for the last stretch to find his way through and sprint 400 m from the finish line with Gosse de Sèvres, his thoroughbred, to finish in sixth position. |
