The Centre is one of four Centres of research which are part of "ESSCA KNOWLEDGE", the school's overarching research structure coordinated by Jacques Boulay, associate dean for research and school developments. Each Centre (see below) develops its own research strategy and agenda covering a four-year period, based on a list of research priorities and funded projects.

Research Centre in Social and Solidarity-Based Economy

The Centre, chaired by Professor Pascal Glémain, deals with social and solidarity-based entrepreneur-ship, as well as the financing, governance and legal context of organisations in this field, as well as questions of micro-finance and fair trade.

Research Centre in Strategy, Innovation and Entrepreneurship

Under the responsibility of Dr Sébastien Ronteau the Centre studies entrepreneurial practices in their strategic, organisational and individual dimen-sions (entrepreneurial profiles, processes, systems of entrepreneurial support and intrapreneurship).

Centre for European Integration

Led by Dr Albrecht Sonntag, the Centre works on providing multi-disciplinary input to the academic community of European Studies: European energy and environmental policies and their impact on sustainable development and identities and citizenship in processes of globalisation and Europeanisation.
